AEW live event question

So according to multiple sources, and “Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, Jeremy Flynn has been appointed as the new Director of Live Events for All Elite Wrestling. Flynn’s background includes experience as the Senior Director of Marketing, Live Events for Professional Bull Riders”

Now i guess we should see pretty soon how this shakes out, and the best to them and him and hopefully a course is corrected, but I have one big question that i've been wondering since the inception of AEW and Dynamite:

How has there not been an AEW Dynamite at the ECW Arena? TK's story of going to the arena as a kid has been circulating for years and years. And i don't need another ECW reunion show, like, at all, just get me Styles & Gertner to open up for a few minutes and I'm set. And no one needs AEW to compete with WWE in terms of crowds and arenas. But they can start standing out again, like they did the first years. For all his (many) faults, I could absolutely see TK moving heaven and earth to make sure Lenny & Hat Guy (are they still alive?) are front row, facing the hard cam in the opening shot!

Honestly I don’t think the 1000 people you can fit in there would recoup costs enough to be worth it. They’d be better off running the Hammerstein ballroom or Manhattan Center as far as optics go.
