A Ratings Opinion
By Scott Keith on 11 April 2024
The one thing that I'm really scratching my head at in responses from both fans and industry veterans, professionals, active talent, etc., who see how this was not a good idea, is that it could still lead to a potential ratings bump. Even you stated “Was this REALLY worth the potential ratings bump? ” And for me, that's actually the last thing I want. If they get a bump in the ratings, then guess what, they'll just keep bringing up wwe related things until it doesn't work anymore ratings wise, and they still won't solve their issues. I'm hoping the ratings suck so TK and gang may get the kick in the keister and start realizing the problems aren't what and who is in the other promotions right now. Get me back to how we were all feeling 2019-2021sh, and of course certain shows afterwards.
For as much as i tuned out of wwe after late 2000's, I still remember how a rare Vince for Shane appearance on RAW popped a rating. And I'll i kept wondering is “who is wanting this?!?”, and then the next week they were right back were they were before anyway.
