Austin

Looking back on it, is it fair to say that the Bret/Austin match at wrestlemania 13 is the biggest match in the history of the company aside from Hogan’s title win? In that it made Austin a superstar and from there, he made the company what it is today.
Slight disagree. I think if you’re going down that path you have to nominate Austin-HBK instead because Tyson’s involvement and the title win is what really skyrocketed business. RAW was on an upward trend after WM13 but legitimately could have been cancelled late in 1997. It was really the combo of Montreal and then WM14 that sealed the comeback for good.
