What if? Piper at WM4

Hi Scott,

Question for you and the blog. Let’s say Piper doesn’t “retire” after WM III and sticks around in the upper mid-card throughout the rest of ‘87, perhaps feuding with Honky Tonk Man over the IC title.

How do you think he gets booked at WrestleMania IV? Does he take the Muraco spot, losing to DiBiase in the semifinals (knowing Piper, probably not by pinfall)? Is he in the IC title match? Or something else?

I wanna say he takes Koko’s place in the six man because him against Bobby Heenan in the dog suit would be MONEY.
