WCW 2000 – whose getting pushed?

LOVING the WCW 2000 reviews!!
It seemed like that at the time the main folks getting pushed were Luger, DDP, Sid, Jarrett, Mamalukes, Harris’s, Iaukea, Vampiro, Tank, Wall and everyone in the Harlem Heat 2000 storyline
If you had a chance to run creative at the time, are any of those still getting pushed or are they getting swapped out for other folks?
I personally think that Sid as the babyface Champ fending off the nWo and assorted monsters of the month like Tank and Wall until it was time for him to feud with Hogan at least makes some kind of logical sense as a storyline
That’s not saying I’d WANT to actually watch it of course, but I can understand what they were going for at least
Would you blow it up completely or just switch someone like DDP, Buff, Flair, Booker etc in for Sid? The matches would be better at least

I think that if they hadn't fucked up with the Goldberg injury, he could have at least provided a stabilizing main eventer and done that very storyline for a long time. Beats monster of the month, moves onto the next one. The problem with Sid thus far is that they couldn't even book HIM in a consistent way, constantly flip-flopping between having him be an underdog getting screwed over by the nWo and then an overpowering monster powerbombing midcarders. I think Jeff Jarrett may actually have been something of an unsung hero during this period, going out there and being professional and solid as US champion during the circus of post-Russo.
