Finish the story…or maybe not

“this is gonna go down as one of the all time booking blunders It was the right time and place and right guy for Roman to lose.” That is how you described the result of last year's WrestleMania main event (which me and a lot of people agreed with). So one year later would a Cody win essentially right that wrong or do you think they missed the boat not having Cody win last year? The fact that Cody is more over now than he was last year (fans picked him over Rock no small feat) makes me think he is a lock to win. But what if Roman wins again? Is that an even worse booking decision than last year? And I would think that would make Cody this generations Lex Luger.
They completely missed the boat but they’re also in a period so hot for the company that it literally didn’t matter. Like what did Roman even do in 2023 that needed the title? He couldn’t have done his bullshit 30 minute match against an Uso without the belt on the line?
