The Rock as Mr. T & Mike Tyson?

There's no denying WWE's two big boom periods (Hulkamania & Austin's Attitude Era) were launched thanks to the mainstream “credibility” — or at least attention — brought by Mr. T and Mike Tyson. Heck, maybe Cena never matched his predecessors because he never had that.
But it wasn't just “hey, look a celebrity!” or else LT would have launched a boom period. It was the right celebrity, storyline, wrestler and time period.
So…is The Rock supposed to be that for Cody Rhodes? True, WWE is already making money hand-over-fist, but as far as cultural relevance, is this the play?
And booking wise, do you think they'll recreate “Mike Tyson turning on DX” at WMXL?
I lost track of what the storyline is even supposed to be a couple of shows back. However I will say that if they run with the idea floating around about Cody assembling a team of Avengers to finally counter the Bloodline and win the title at WM, that would be a pretty awesome payoff. How the Rock would figure into that , I dunno.
