Howdy Blog O’Doomers!
I hope everyone is well. Still recovering from COVID-19. The cough is reducing, but endurance is still a work in progress. My workouts have gotten much shorter. Oh well it will all come back in time.
Tough week for former WWE officials. We lost Dave Hebner, of the Hebner twins, and sadly lost Tim White last night. White was known as much for his relationship with Andre the Giant as he was for being a referee. He seemed like a very kind soul and someone who really cared about Andre as the times were getting tough. I hope he has been reunited with his old friend and many bottles of wine.
Not surprisingly Smackdown popped a big rating. Carny Vince was in super Carny Vince mode. Rampage absolutely did not pop a big rating. Between that and their porous Dynamite rating, I’m wondering if they are investing too much time in bringing guys over from Japan. I mean obviously there’s a segment of the audience that eats it up, but there’s also clearly a segment that won’t watch at all.
RAW is live tonight. They need something to happen. Anything. If there was ever a time to call up baby Steiner and have him demolishing dudes each week now is that time.
AEW YouTube is streaming.
Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals is tonight. Hopefully my Lightning will show a pulse. Also some College World Series is on if you like that sort of thing.
Keep. It. Clean.
