Jobber offense

By Scott Keith on 9 May 2022

As we know, the squashes on Superstars/Challenge weren't always complete annihilations as the jobbers sometimes got some token offense in. I'm guessing that how much, if any, offense the jobber got came down to the largesse of the name wrestler, since he would
be the one calling the shots in the match (to the extent that these matches need to be called, anyway)? Certainly, if you were a job guy, you threw punches against Dynamite Kid at your peril, for example.

Related question: who was a wrestler who you found sold to a surprising degree in squashes, given his character and image?
I’d say Ted Dibiase off the top of my head.
