As Rude lays a beatdown he appears in the split screen and chokes the Ultimate Warrior’s wrestling buddy, saying he looks forward to doing that to the Warrior in the cage at SummerSlam. The WWF has been all-in with product placement this summer. Rude has an easy win to try to rebuild some momentum for SummerSlam.
Rhythm & Blues’ squash win on Prime Time Wrestling is shown.
Sergeant Slaughter fires an M16 into the air, screaming about how peace is for pansies. He declares war on peace, Nikolai Volkoff, and any fans that support Volkoff.
In the ring, Volkoff receives a medal of honor from the Mid-American Boy Scouts of America because of his contribution to world peace and security. The Boy Scouts then lead Volkoff and the rest of the crowd through the Pledge of Allegiance.

Dino Bravo urges Earthquake to concentrate on Hulk Hogan in the main event as Bravo promises to take care of Tugboat. Earthquake repeats his vow to end Hulkamania. Hogan says that Hulkamania has reached new heights, while Tugboat stumbles over telling Hogan how he was able to rescue him on Saturday Night’s Main Event. WWF Champion the Ultimate Warrior says his warriors will give him the power he needs to retain his title at SummerSlam. Power & Glory (w/Slick) (2-0) defeat Warren Bianchi & Red Tyler when Paul Roma pins Tyler after the Powerplex at 1:48:
This is the first match for the heel version of the Hercules-Roma tag team. In the split screen Power & Glory promise to beat the Rockers at SummerSlam and take the glory for themselves. Going heel means that the team cannot use some of their more creative high-flying babyface spots, but they have an amazing tag team finisher called the Powerplex where Hercules gives an opponent a superplex while Roma crashes onto them immediately after with a splash off the top rope. Ventura marks out for it.
Tune in next week to see the Big Bossman, Ted DiBiase, the Legion of Doom, and Mr. Perfect in action! Also, WWF Champion the Ultimate Warrior will appear on the Brother Love Show!
The Last Word: Most of the content on this show appeared earlier in the week on Prime Time Wrestling. The SummerSlam card got new matches, but the only intriguing one is the Rockers vs. Power & Glory since the Dusty Rhodes & Sapphire vs. Randy Savage & Sensational Sherri feud is beyond played out by this point.
