Trios titles and factions in AEW

Hi Scott,

With the announcement of Rampage I started wondering if AEW will introduce the Trios titles that had been mentioned as a possibility when they got the additional tv time.

It occurred to me that this might be a way to make all the factions have more value.

Proposed Trios title rules:

IF the champs are in a single faction, you get to use Freebird rules and any faction members can defend the belts.

IF the champs are members of different factions, no Freebird rules.

I think simple rules like that can lead to cool storylines about keeping factions strong and having factions blow up because something happened outside the “family”.

I don't think we need Freebird rules but they have a TON of viable trios teams and they desperately need those belts. But they SHOULD think about naming the belts “the Freebird titles”, which I think would be a cool nod to history like the TNT title is.
