Wrestlemania Layout

Scott:
From an in-ring perspective this year's Mania was certainly solid to very good. But from a booking and layout perspective, this had to be one of the worst of all time. The show literally ended with 4 consecutive heel victories, with 6 out of 7 matches on night 2 being won by heels.
Why couldn't they simply swap the main events of the two shows, and put the Drew/Lashley match as the night 2 semi-main? They also could have probably swapped either the cage match or Bad Bunny with one of the heel secondary title matches, to even it out moreso. Open the whole event with Owens and Sami, and while I don't think you get an all-time great Mania, I think it's definitely remembered more as a really good Mania than this year's, which will be most remembered for heel wins, Hulk Hogan's pirate costume, and WrestleRainia.
I know hindsight is 20/20 but there had to be SOMEONE there with the foresight to lay this show out better.
And yes, I know I'm setting a new record for already fantasy rebooking a show the day after it ends.
Well someone's always gotta be the first. Really they could have edited out all of the women's tag team garbage and kept these flowing better, too. But yeah, weird choice for openers both nights. Also Kevin Dunn's camera work was particularly galling on this show, even by his standards.
