Hey Scott,
Maybe this is a stupid question, but what does WWE stand to gain if people sign up for Peacock being they already got the $1 billion deal?
Are there incentives based on people that sign up now and if so how would they know for sure people signed up for WWE and not just because there’s a deal going on right now with the first 4 months for $10?
They have absolutely no stake in it whatsoever. Vince got paid and provides the content and that's it. Everything else is on NBC to worry about, which is why once again Vince is the smartest man in wrestling when it comes to this shit. And if it flops on Peacock and gets dropped at the end of the contract, he'll just lower the price to $750 million and go shop it elsewhere and probably get THAT too.
