SNME

Hi Scott,
I you can notice it, but what was it actually that made the concept of SNME run outnof steam? Raw wasn’t around yet. You still had all the superstars like Hogan, Savage, Warrior.
Watching these all in order again, it's kind of strange because as soon as 1990 hits, it's like the show completely runs out of steam, and I'm not sure if it's BECAUSE the production changed up a bit or if the show was already losing steam and they decided to switch the production in order to get the steam back. Either way, it's noticeable how the basic formatting of the show and production values start to mimic what Superstars was doing at the time rather than the unique look that the NBC shows had up until that point, with the curtained interviews disappearing and a backstage format taking their place.I dunno, I think maybe as usual the Simpsons sums it up best, with SNME being The I Didn't Do It Kid and then one day he's just through and the audience doesn't care anymore. It happens literally all the time in entertainment.
