Hey Scott,
What made WWE sour on John Morrison so strongly in his first run?
He seemed like a total package and well on his way to the main event. I remember there being some goofiness with Trish and WM 27 but that doesn't seem like the type of thing to lock someone in the doghouse permanently and have a 'keep away for 10 years” rule from Vince.
Did he sneeze or something?

No but he wanted out to be an actor and I think they felt he wasn’t dedicated to the WWE machine like they wanted.
