Friday Night Get-Down: February 12, 2021

TONIGHT! We kick it off with Roman Reigns saying he has a major announcement! In addition, Seth Rollins is due back this week — no, really, we mean it this time! Plus, what will the Elimination Chamber matches look like for the Friday Night show?

TOMORROW! Impact present No Surrender! In celebration of the 50th birthday of the legendary Tommy Dreamer, Rich Swann is offering him a title match! AEW’s Private Party will face the Good Brothers for the Impact tag titles… wait, I’ve just learned the team of Chris Sabin and James Storm (subbing for Alex Shelley) have been added! Eight men will face off in a three-at-a-time gauntlet! Women’s Champ Deonna Purrazzo leads her squad against one captained by Jordynne Grace!

SUNDAY! I have no plans for Sunday because Valentine’s Day is a social construct, and besides who the hell would ever date me. But YOU have plans — they involve NXT TakeOver! Finn Balor battles Pete Dunne! The Grizzled Young Veterans tangle with MSK! Johnny Gargano attempts to show Kushida the way! A great wrestling weekend concludes!

MONDAY! It’s a US Bank Holiday and we have the day off! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!

To celebrate all this great action, let’s go back and look at a Rumble match that I don’t think gets nearly enough love — the 2013 edition. Is it good? Yes? No? (Well, these two guys in the thumbnail won’t help you decide, but I think it was very good.)
