“You resemble that remark more, Brain. But now’s not the time to argue. It’s Christmas Eve, and after a year like the one we’ve had, now’s a good time to look back and count our blessings.”
“Yeah, and despite being stuck in this studio with an 800-pound ape man, I’d say there have been a few. Like AEW having a successful first year, and my man Kenny Omega bringing in Impact for a big-time crossover.”
“That looks to be an interesting direction in the future. Also, history was made in Impact as we had the gender barrier to world championships thoroughly smashed earlier this year.”
“Are we still allowed to bring that up, Monsoon? I thought we had to pretend she never existed.”
“In addition, we saw the rise at WrestleMania of Drew McIntyre to become a first-time WWE Champion, and boy has he had a heck of a year, Brain.”
“You know, I really respect what he’s done. I’ve always respected people from Scotland for their skill and their intelligence. And…”
“You’ve what? Do I have to get Hot Rod in here again?”
“That skirt-wearing freak? Forget it…. he’s not here, is he?”
“Wouldn’t you like to know. Folks, with a new dawn on the horizon and a chance for wrestling around the country to be coming back to its fans by the end of next year, it’s pretty safe to say that the sport may have been down, but it was never out.”
“It’s just like my man Andre — took a beating and kept on winning. By the way, Monsoon, is now a good time to do the whole gift thing?”
“…you got me a gift?”
“Well, we agreed to pick matches out for each other. I have mine… you know what? You go first.”
“Thank you — folks, my featured bout for the week comes to us as a blast from the past as one of the hottest acts in the land of the rising sun, Tenryu, steps into the ring against Riki Choshu.”

“Well, with two Japanese wrestlers, MSG has to be involved somehow–”
“DON’T START! Just tell me about your match.”
“All right — I decided to go with AEW and 205 Live squaring off. That little runt Marko Stunt is going to get what’s coming to him as he takes on Curt Stallion. And to make it better, it’s a bullrope match. Let’s see him run and hide now!”
