Hi Scott, love the site. I have a serious question I hope you can answer. “The Nature Boy” nickname has been around forever, (Buddy Landell, Buddy Rogers, Ric Flair). Does it stop with Flair, or can it continue still? I don’t know if Flair tried to copyright it or not. Say if WWE bought it, they could keep tradition alive and give it to Buddy Murphy (Keeping the Buddy theme). Just a thought. Please answer.
I’m pretty sure that Flair can’t own the name outright, since he took it from a previous Nature Boy. Plus Buddy Landel was using it at the same time. However WWE would likely go after anyone they tried it so it probably wouldn’t be worth it.
