Scott,
Has there ever been a better opening angle than the Nexus invasion? And how did that angle, which should have provided the company with main event talent for years after such a star-making debut, produce only one main-eventer (Daniel Bryan, and he became one in spite of himself)?
I'm gonna be honest: I really don't have the nostalgia for that angle because I wasn't particularly paying much attention to the current product at that point. And outside of Barrett I don't really see main event talent in that group. For me, it's hard to top the original Outsiders / nWo invasions.
