who did Cena help “make”?

Hey Scott,
Admittedly, I tuned out for the majority of his run, but after so many of the older stars put John Cena over, did he really help make any news stars? I can’t think of any good examples. Punk maybe?
Cena drew money and carried the company for a decade. He wasn't obligated to “make new stars” any more than Hogan or anyone else who came before him. That was supposed to be Vince's job. And obviously it failed.
