Wrestlemania V

I know that the Megapowers year long angle was one of the best then ever did and Wrestlemania V made tons of money but really Hogan and Savage were already main event starts so who did the match elevate? Wouldn't Hogan have been better served putting over
an up and comer like the Blue Blazer, which would free Savage up to have his blowoff match Bad News Brown?

Also related, who did the Twin Towers piss off to go from the main event on The Main Event to the second match on the card. Did they forget to go down to the USWA and shake The Undertakers hand or something?
