Hey Scott,
If it’s true Vince is pushing live shows just to keep these TV contracts intact, how well would the WWE be doing without billion dollar TV deals? For all their bragging about being more profitable than ever…..they don’t produce stars anymore with the WWE itself the “selling point.” Since they killed PPV and live gates are even more obsolete—what aspect holds up their bottom line if not for these deals?

As far as people know at this point, the TV deal is the only thing holding them up outside of merch sales and some negligible revenue from social media. PPV and live event revenue are close to zero at the moment, obviously. But they do have $10 million a month from the Network at least.
