WM at the Garden in June??
By Scott Keith on 18th March 2020
A couple of the rumor ragsheets are reporting that the WrestleMania endgame is actually to have it at Madison Square Garden on June 6. The idea is that the company officially announcing WM being held at the Performance Center is just to fulfill insurance obligations that WWE made a legitimate attempt to move the event elsewhere, but fully expect Orlando to still shut them down. Thus, WWE gets their insurance kicked in, and they and MSG look to have a full on WM in a few months, with the Garden looking to do business after the pandemic wiped out the scheduled MSG WWE Live event this weekend.
Sounds like a realistic idea or should we say OBSERVE THIS and light this on fire in a trash can?
I don't know how realistic it is, but pretty much everyone rational has been saying that postponing for a month or two and doing it in a normal setting would be the best course of action. The problem is that we don't know if things will be back to normal by June, but if so, YES, this is absolutely the best solution.
And yeah, I suspect Florida is going to shut everyone down sooner rather than later.
