Alternate Commentary

Hey Scott, your boys at Place to be Nation's current year-long project is trying to determine the Greatest WCW match ever https://www.facebook.com/groups/GWCWMatches/. While watching some of the old JCP shows as Hidden Gems I was wondering, why don't they add alternate commentary for these Network shows? It seems like they have about 35 commentators under contract and also imagine all the underneath guys and guys at the Performance Center who would love to do this. Think of Kassius Ohno geeking out over Crockett Cup 86. They used to do this all the time on old DVDs and 24/7, including the great Showdown at Shea with Foley and Cole. It might even let Vic Toad Phillips Joseph show some personality.
I know and I love the idea. Like why don't they let guys record commentary for these old AWA-NWA super-shows they're putting up? They don't give a shit about preserving history while they're hacking the entrance music to pieces, so put some guys who aren't doing anything on one of these shows for three hours and let them riff on them or maybe, I dunno, LEARN ABOUT WRESTLING HISTORY instead of sitting around doing nothing. I'd love to hear someone like Zack Ryder give it a shot.
