CM punk question

Good day. Ok enough pleasantries. If CM punk ever came back to the WWE I just can't see him as anything else but a cowardly heel. There is no chance Vince lets a guy who was a joke and a colossal failure in the UFC to come back to WWE and beat his top starts and be the world champion. Thoughts?
