Hey Scott,
Is Mansoor unironically one of the few – if not the only – babyface WWE has correctly booked in recent memory? Crowd is firmly behind him when he wrestles, they don't job him out in front of the home crowd, and he cuts traditional babyface promos about overcoming tribulation and succeeding at setting and meeting goals.
IMO he's easily the best thing about these Saudi shows. He's actually, genuinely likable! Go figure.
And yet they never have him anywhere on the NXT show where he's apparently been working for the past couple of years in an attempt to capitalize on this market. Maybe, MAYBE, there's Muslim people in the United States who would possibly cheer for him, too! Crazy concept, I know.
