Main Eventers Arriving During The Show

By Scott Keith on 29 December 2018

Hey Scott,

Nearly every recapper and reviewer I read, not sure if it includes yourself, get really hung up on people in the main event arriving during the show? Why? It literally happens all the time in big boxing events when they cut away during a break in an undercard
fight to show it and the crowd pops big.
I think it's because we know, as wrestling fans, that everyone arrives at the same time in real life, and the "late arrival" is a false construct of the TV show, which makes us realize we're watching a TV show and hurts the suspension of disbelief needed to really enjoy things lots of times. Like, we know that Vince in real life is gonna yell at someone for arriving late, so why would Vince the character put up with it on the show?
