“X-Pac Heat”

Would you say any wrestler(s) had "X-Pac (Go Away) heat" before it was coined during Sean Waltman's 2nd run with the WWF/E in the late 1990's?
It was kind of a unique thing for the Russo era. I'd say maybe someone like Bob Backlund in the latter stages of his first title reign had a similar vibe, but he wasn't out there on national TV every single week like Waltman was.
