What makes NXT work?

Bro,
So I watch NXT every week but won't waste my time with RAW or Smackdown. What single factor do you think that NXT that makes it more worthwhile and is there anything that the main shows can learn and apply from that?
– One hour a week with compact list of stars
– Stars don't appear every show so no overexposure
– Promotions to main roster keeps acts from getting stale kinda like the territory days
– None of the usual suspects over-producing the TV

All of the above. Plus writers who don’t have to book skits where people piss on someone’s robe as a distraction finish. Plus a high level of talent filtering and actually booking them in the proper position.
