I was just rewatching the MSG Piper's Pit from St. Patrick's Day 1985 with the final build-up to the closed circuit event on 3/31/85 and, have you prior to or since, seen Hulk Hogan just stand in a corner and not say a word?

Also, the audio and camera work at that point were sub-standard compared to that of a World Class Championship Wrestling Dick Ebersol definitely should have been given points in the company for improving the technical quality.

Oh, absolutely! Ebersol upgrading the technical aspects of the presentation is one of the biggest things that gets forgotten today. If you watch the transition from the old Allentown-style tapings into the big arenas with flashy graphics for WWF Superstars, it instantly makes Vince's product look like the bigtime and everything else look like the so-called "smoke filled halls".
