Rey v Cena

With this rumor going the rounds and the whole “No Taker make John sad BS” I really think they either a) planned on Taker and it got nixed or b) have no and never had any idea what's going on…Rey v Cena would be fine I'm sure and Rey wanting Cena at mania makes business sense but it would be so utterly random.
But without Rey pointing at the sign for weeks how does he go to mania?
Both Meltzer and Mike Johnson, actual sources, have confirmed that the story about Rey being at Smackdown is bunk.
